Notice Regarding the Discontinuation of Sending and Receiving Password-Protected Compressed Files via Email
We hope this message finds you well. Thank you for your continued support.
We would like to inform you that, in order to strengthen our SECURITY operations, we will discontinue the sending and receiving of password-protected compressed files (hereinafter referred to as PPAP) via email as of September 29, 2023. Instead, we will utilize cloud storage for file sharing.
The use of PPAP has raised concerns about making malware detection difficult and increasing the risk of infection. Although we have been sending PPAP considering the system environments of our customers and business partners, the passwords sent through the same communication path as PPAP cannot avoid the risks of information leakage through email eavesdropping. Given these concerns, we have decided to transition to a safer and more convenient file exchange method.
We will continue to strive to provide better services, and we ask for your continued support.

Emails that meet the following conditions for attached files
- Password-protected compressed files
- Encrypted filesEncrypted files
- File Sharing Method
Files sent from us to our customers and business partners will be shared using the cloud storage we use, with the email containing the URL for accessing the file. If you have a specified cloud storage, please inform us. Alternatively, files can also be sent using our cloud storage.
*There will be no operational changes for customers who are already exchanging files via cloud storage such as BOX or customer-specified file exchange systems.
