GMO Internet Group Enters Strategic Partnership Agreement with Anthropic

GMO Internet Group, Inc. (Group CEO: Masatoshi Kumagai) entered into a strategic partnership agreement with US-based Anthropic PBC (hereinafter "Anthropic") on Friday, July 10, 2026.

Under this agreement, GMO Internet Group will promote AI integration both internally and externally by providing safe and reliable AI-powered services to the general public, while aggressively leveraging Claude across the entire organization to accelerate its transition into a hyper-automation enterprise group.

The four key pillars of this agreement are as follows:

1. Application of Anthropic’s AI to cyberattack defense services
2. Utilization in AI and robotics initiatives to contribute to the advancement of "Physical AI"
3. Enhancement of AI utilization across the GMO Internet Group
4. Joint initiatives, including events, to promote AI adoption
