We are pleased to announce that on Friday, April 10, 2026, The Nikkei (Nikkei Digital Edition) featured the results of the "Email Security Survey of Major Brands" conducted by GMO Brand Security.

The article highlights the current state of email security among leading brands, based on our investigation of 7,600 domains owned by the "Global Top 50" and "Japan’s Top 50" brands (as selected by Interbrand).

The survey results brought a stark reality to light: 95.2% of domains in Japan and 76.9% globally are in a "high-risk" state, lacking effective configurations for SPF and DMARC—the primary defenses against email spoofing.

GMO Brand Security remains committed to strengthening the cybersecurity measures of corporations and local governments through advanced research and analysis of domain and email security, contributing to a safer and more secure digital society.
