GMO Brand Security Inc. (President and Chief Operating Officer: Mitsuaki Nakagawa; hereinafter "GMO Brand Security"), a member of the GMO Internet Group providing spoofing monitoring and brand protection services, and RAKUS Light Cloud Co., Ltd. (CEO: Satoshi Otsuka; hereinafter "RAKUS Light Cloud"), provider of the "blastmail" and "blastengine" email delivery systems with a track record of over 27,000 clients, will launch a partnership on February 24, 2026. This collaboration aims to promote the adoption of Verified Mark Certificates (VMC), an essential component for implementing Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI).
Through this partnership, users of RAKUS Light Cloud's "blastmail" and "blastengine" will be able to smoothly acquire VMCs from GMO Brand Security and implement the BIMI framework. Companies adopting BIMI/VMC can display their verified corporate logos in the recipient's inbox, which is expected to strengthen defenses against spoofing and phishing while simultaneously enhancing email reliability and open rates.
