The Kita-Nippon Bank, Ltd., based primarily in Iwate Prefecture.
In response to changes in Google's "Mail Sender Guidelines" and guidance from the Financial Services Agency, strengthening email security became an urgent priority for the bank. A particular challenge was creating an environment where recipients can visually distinguish legitimate emails from spoofed (phishing) messages.
The solution adopted was Brand-Logo Emails (BIMI). The bank swiftly completed raising its internal DMARC policy and proceeded with BIMI implementation with a strong security awareness.
