GMO Internet Group (Group Representative: Masatoshi Kumagai), which operates under the corporate catchphrase “Internet for Everyone,” will hold one of Japan’s largest cybersecurity conferences, the “3rd GMO Grand Conference — Spring: Cybersecurity 2026,” at the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel (Shibuya, Tokyo) on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

This major themed conference is being held in conjunction with the “Cybersecurity Month” promoted by the National Cybersecurity Office (NCO) of the Cabinet Secretariat. Under the theme “AI and Cybersecurity,” the conference aims to provide a forum for collaboration among industry, government, and academia.

On the same day, the “GMO Cybersecurity Awards 2026” will be held to recognize initiatives that have achieved notable results or created social value in the cybersecurity field. The awards will support the discovery of next‑generation talent and technologies and contribute to the overall development of the industry.

The conference is organized as the 12th installment of the group‑wide project “Net Security by GMO,” with the goal of improving the quality of security measures across companies and organizations and contributing to the strengthening of Japan’s cyber resilience.

This event will be conducted in Japanese. For details, please see the link below.
